Speed run of Grand Theft Auto III on PlayStation 2 in 9 segments, completed on January 3 2005.
Author's comments:
First off, I should thank Molotov (quite a bit of my strategy came from his run thru GTA3) and Nate (for offering to capture this run for me), without them this run wouldn't have been possible.
There's not really any serious mistakes in this run, but recording in fewer segments would always speed up this time a fair bit. I managed to record most of these segments first time, only The Exchange (didn't have a really good strategy) and Paparazzi Purge (kept screwing up and missing the boat) would pose real problems to doing this single-segment.
Overall though, I'm satisfied with this run, hope you enjoy watching it!

Subject: well done, but why the cut frames?
very nicely done and all, but you can clearly see where you cut frames. you'll be driving around and then suddenly the car just jumps from one position to another, and its not because your lookin to the side or behind, it almost looks like reverse lag or something. I mean you clearly have much skill with this game, what motivated you to have to cheat seconds off your time? anyways, its very nicely done, its too bad you had to spoil it all with your frame cutting cheatery.
